Hi,

When I drag and drop movies (mp4) to USB-key (exfat) in Dolphin everything looks as working, but when I try to play the movies on PC with Win10 the player doesn't support the file, not working.

Any ideas on what could cause this?

Thanks

:)

Been having similar issues and this is what I've learned (mostly from Wikipedia).
exFAT is a propriety file system owned by Microsoft. However the specifications are released and there are drivers for Linux written. They are however not included in the kernel until version 5.4 (I just installed Neon on one machine and it runs 5.3, this older install is on 4.15).

Afaik, you can also format your USB as NTFS.

If you are on Ubuntu, you can also update to the latest Linux kernal with Ukuu. I am usually always running a fairly recent kernal version, and have rarely had issues.
The Ukuu kernal updater is no longer free, but the old version still works and can be downloaded from GitHub: https://github.com/teejee2008/ukuu
