It already exists: Right click on the device in "Removable Devices"-> Click Safely Remove
Or use the Device Notifier in the System tray, there is a direct button there.
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

I know that.. but in most other linux file browsers there is an eject icon right on the mounted drive itself.. one click.. so much easier.. This function of right clicking or going to the devices is like a windows OS.

you should submit a wish at https://bugs.kde.org for this

okay.. I will do this. There are plugins for dolphin . Perhaps one can be made. I am really liking kde. Never really had the patience to try it as a main driver. Now has been maybe 2 weeks and I like it a lot.
