Hi there, I've just installed Kubuntu 20.04 and have some trouble turning previews in Dolphin off. In the preferences I have the option to tick or untick previews for various file types but it doesn't matter whether there is a tick or not. I still get the previews. Can I reinstall Dolphin and would that be a possible solution? Any input would be very appreciated.

after removing all the ticks in the Previews settings, did you close Dolphin and reopen it? Works fine for me.
