Is there a DBus method/action to select a device from the devices panel in Dolphin?

In Dolphin, a tab is opened when a device from the Devices panel is selected. Using QDBusViewer, is there a specific method/action to do this?

Using a method like:

Code: Select all
dolphin/Dolphin_1/org.kde.dolphin.MainWindow/Method: OpenDirectories

NAME: dirs (QStringList) VALUE: /run/user/1000/android_device_id/primary
NAME: splitView (bool) VALUE: true

It opens a tab with that directory, but does not 'check' (enter) to actually populate the directory within the panel. I would prefer to simply query the device and activate in the background without activating Dolphin itself.

My app currently relies on kdeconnect, but this document cannot be read via kdeconnect because it is in a system folder. However, it can be accessed using Dolphin.

So, the goal is to query and activate (if needed) Dolphin's connection to the Android system folder (preferably in the background). Alternatively, is there a setting in Dolphin to make sure its device connection is persistent (without a device tab being opened) whenever paired via kdeconnect?
