Hello, I have a question about the search in dolphin (Version 19.12.3): I have a directory that contains a file named "twrp-3.3.1-1-oneplus3.img". With ctrl-f the file is not found neither with the search string "twrp" nor "oneplus". Even if I rename the file or change the extension, it still will not be found. Do you have any hint what might be the problem? Or any dolphin settings I might have look at?

What are the properties of that file, e.g. is it set to hidden?

FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

I have balooctl check run every day. None of the exceptions apply to this folder. But thanks for the hint. So I know now that this is a baloo problem *sigh*.

Ok, I found the solution. In "~/.config/baloofilerc" files with the extension ".img" are excluded by default.
