Hi. I finally narrowed down my inability to access my Windows shares in Dolphin to its rejecting access when using a blank password. I can mount these shares from the command line using the CIFS protocol; is this a deliberate limitation in KDE or Dolphin and is this limitation enforced by the kio slave implementing the SMB protocol?
