exiting from Dolphin only mode

Sat Aug 07, 2021 2:03 am
Hi,

I have just installed the latest Fedora with DE Plasma desktop on my laptop.

I have not use KDE much before now, and I have run into this situation which I can't get out of twice within a week now:

I somehow end up with only the Dolphin windows being displayed, and I can't access the normal menus (system tray?) to access the other applications/windows. Clicking on the mouse buttons outside the Dolphin windows I have do not do anything.

Pressing F1 brings up a new window with the Dolphin Handbook.

I assume this is some Dolphin only mode I have gotten myself into. I am not exactly sure how I got into this mode, and how to get out of it, except by restarting my laptop.

Can anyone help with what mode I have gotten myself into, and how I can get out of it, and, if possible, how I can prevent myself getting into this mode again?

Thanks in advance,

Kish Shen
