Not sure if this is a dolphin issue.
I use arch linux. With lsusb I can see my camera
I've installed:
Camera worked out of the box on Gnome. I though that gvfs is a package needed but it's installation didn't help. |

How do you mount it, USB or MTP? This makes quite a difference
Even if you are using Dolphin under Gnome you still might need the corresponding KIO files, GIO will not work.
Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ... |

To be honest, I don't know. During testing, I didn't set up anything in my camera. In Gnome it just works (don't have Gnome installed currently). Edit. After installation of kamera package, there is a system tray popup that let me mount and open my camera. Camera is not show in dolphin "places" but It is opened with the "icon" near the clock that let mount usb devices etc. |

Which is entirely correct, it is a removable device after all. It should then show in the "Removable Devices" section in Dolphin, below "Places". Right click on the Panel in Dolphin if you don't see it, it might just be hidden
