How to change text colors for git/cmake-generated files?

Without disabling the git service menu, that is. Being able to attach a image instead of trying to use words to describe the problem would really be helpful here...

Use imgur and give a link to the image, as easy as that.


Running Kubuntu 22.10 with Plasma 5.26.3, Frameworks 5.100.0, Qt 5.15.6, kernel 5.19.0-23 on Ryzen 5 4600H, AMD Renoir, X11
FWIW: it's always useful to state the exact Plasma version (+ distribution) when asking questions, makes it easier to help ...

But then I can't keep track of what I'm uploading and sharing online...Anyway I just decided to change the color of my view background since I couldn't find the correct text color to change....

Okay I found out a workaround was in editing ~/.gitconfig to change color settings:
