Hello,
When saving a file from the Telegram messenger, I get the following dialog: ![]() I want to start typing a new name immediately, but it would erase the extension, so I have to put the cursor before .jpg first. That's very annoying when saving a lot of files. The desired save dialog would be the following: ![]() I got the problem after my latest update and I DIDN'T update Telegram. I had this problem once before and it fixed itself after an update. Now I have it again. I also have the same problem when saving files from KWrite. Where can I find this setting? I use Dolphin 21.08.2-1.1 from openSUSE Tumbleweed OSS repository. |

The problem somehow recovered itself, maybe after another update, even though I didn't update Dolphin. However, it still would be nice to be able to control it if it happens again.
I forgot to mention that I launch Telegram as another user with kdesu if it's relevant. I was not accurate when talking about KWrite. I actually (still) have the problem when creating a text file from the context menu (right click on an empty space in Dolphin). |
