I'm trying to create a folder in my '/home' for a rclone mount, and for aestetic reasoning, I'd like to change the icon to the icon of the cloud storage service. However, after some issues I've realized that to give a folder an icon, it creates a hidden file '.directory' that holds that data. This doesn't go well with rclone, as it turns back into a normal folder without an icon even if I allow non-empty.
Is there any way to make the '.directory' file outside the target file? Or possibly a different way to change the icon for a folder?
