Newbie here so thanks for being gentle.
I often use the Konqueror or Dolphin file managers to access files on remote hosts, using fish:// protocol.
When opening a file for editing in Kate, the file opens with kate sometimes showing the filename prefixed by a random number of approx 5 digits and underscore/s.
Also, when saving the edited file (to remote place) there's a delay.
Now, I have 2 different desktop computers (work and home) which are each used (at different times) to edit same files on the same remote host.
Sometimes I get the random numbers, other times not.
Please, canna anybuddy help me understand what causes this unwanted behaviour.
