Disconnect SMB Shares From Dolphin to Improve Performance?

I am getting a tremendous amount of latency in dolphin. I have plenty of horsepower (i7 with 16gb of memory) but when I click on a directory it takes a full 10 seconds to open. I never use dolphin to browse SMB shares. My hypothesis is that if I disconnect those four shares from dolphin, performance will improve. I do not want to unmount the shares (I need them) I just need to prevent Dolphin from connecting to them.

Any ideas or should I file a bug report on the latency.

Dolphin is 22.08.3 from Fedora 37 RPM
