Posting this again, previous thread didn't got any reply.

Selecting the "Remember display style for each folder" makes the "Downloads" folder show a rough modified time estimate. Eg: Today, Sunday, A week ago, May,22 etc. How can I remove this? Other folders don't show this. Searched everywhere but can't find the option to disable this..

Yeah but I also want to keep the sorting. I have set the sorting to "Modified", "Newest First", "Folders First" in other folders as well but I don't see those dates in them. Those dates make browsing/scrolling the folder too long and time consuming.

If I set what you set, I see everything like in any other folder if you're in list view. Dates will not show in icon or compact view, grouped or not. Fairly sure you have your other folders in compact or icon view. https://imgur.com/a/IZ1BKrD

Can you try this on the "Downloads" folder. I have no issues with "Pictures" or other folders

And if you're talking abour the dates on the left side, that shows when sort is set to "modified". If sort by modified is only set in your Downloads....Here's Pictures and Downloads with the same criteria.https://imgur.com/a/gGfnvIp
