This is on a clean install of Mandriva 2009. I have copied Dolphin to my
desktop and have it setup to run as root. Used to be periodically I'd get the above error along with "The name org.kde.klauncher was not provided by any service files" however it seems like now every time I try to start it I see this. I changed it in this manner. Under properties > application > advanced options > run as another user > root. Any advice? Chris |

Tried the work-around, can't get it to work right either. I did however get konqueror as filemanagement to run once and not again as root. I know a lot has changed since Mandrake 10.1 but I had two instances of konqueror running at once, one as root and one as user in it. |
