when i hover on a icon of a video dolphin crashes.

It's a problem with the Ubuntu xine translations: https://launchpad.net/bugs/290768
If you have the intrepid-proposed updates installed it should be pretty much fixed. If you don't have intrepid-proposed enabled you can enable it by enabling "prerelease updates" in the software sources manager in Adept. It would also be a tremendous help to give feedback on the bugfix in the bug I just linked, as it cannot go out to the masses until it is confirmed to be fixed.
