Hello,

I am not able to find where one can save the panel locations.

ex:
The information panel is shown on the right of the list by default. I want it and all other panels to be on the left.

This works within my session, but returns to default after rebooting.

Is there a way to save the panel locations?

They should save automatically. Do you have write access to either of these files (or both if they both exist):

~/.kde4/share/config/dolphinrc
~/.kde/share/config/dolphinrc

If neither exist, do you have write access to:

~/.kde/share/config/
