Since moving to KDE4 (currently 4.5.1), my file managers have exhibited a new, very frustrating behavior; both of them re-sort and return to the top of the listing after a file delete. I want to turn this off and remain at the current location in the file listing like the previous behavior. This has been confirmed in my distro's fora by other users, but no solution has arisen. My initial searches here have not returned any solutions either.

I would suggest filing a bug report if one has not been filed already.
