The current Dolphin does not offer this choice. Has another application replaced this function? If so, which one? How do I find the path to a folder using a GUI such as Dolphin 1.5 or (another file manager), KDE 4.6.0, Meerkat 10.10? Is there an application where I can, for example, type in '.kde', and have it show me the path and location of that folder? Thank you. |

You should use the filter panel. It offers most of the same functionality. If you want to use the original tool, just open the "kfind" application.
