I usually have several tabs open in dolphin when I logout/reboot and I want to know if there was a way to remember what files were selected in each of those tabs. Is that information stored in any files?

I tried looking through qdbus but I couldn't find anything relevant.

I would recommend filing a feature request at bugs.kde.org for this - Dolphin itself can tell fairly easily which files you have selected.
