Can't add sensors in Ksysguard

Tue May 08, 2012 8:56 pm
Since upgrading to Fedora 16 a few weeks back I cannot add new sensors to a display by drag & drop from the sensor browser. The mouse cursor changes to a plus" sign, but nothing happens when I drop the sensor in place - no error message, or anything in syslog. This happens even with an emply display panel - the only way I can add a sensor is by creating a new display from scratch. However existing (pre-F16) multi-sensor displays work fine.

This affects all users of the system inc. root, so not profiel or permissions related. KDE version is 4.8.2 (package ksysguard-4.7.2-14.fc16.x86_64). The symptoms look very much like this http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=597668 though that was some time back on a different version.

Should I file a bug report or does anyone have any ideas?
