Hi there,
I had a monitor plugged into my laptop. I used KDE's "Display Settings" control module to tell my laptop to use the monitor and disable my laptop screen. Then I took my laptop away with me, but... the screen is disabled, even after unplugging the monitor. Does anyone know how I could reset my screen to default from the command line? Thanks! |

I assume the lcd/crt fn on the laptop doesn't work
found "Quick workaround for missing “switch-display”-key or “lcd/crt”-key" http://ninetynine.be/blog/2010/05/quick ... key-on-ubu found "Disper is an on-the-fly display switch utility" http://willem.engen.nl/projects/disper/ and this monitor-switcher.sh which uses xrandr http://www.thetechrepo.com/main-article ... tributions |

Simply running this should fix it:
KDE Sysadmin

I had the exact same issue.
Using
worked, but I had to launch the command from the blank screen. I have yakuake installed so what I did was:
Press F12 Type the command and press enter |
