I usually work with a profile in konqueror where I have multiple tabs open at the same time, but the names of which [grammar here?] are often misleading.
Is there a way to rename the tabs?

Sorry, Konqueror does not offer an option to do this unfortunately.
For web pages, Konqueror should display the title of the web page. For file browsing, the name of the folder being browsed should be shown.
