SOLVED: Kate Has No Recent Files Menu Item

LaneLester Registered Member Posts 9 Karma 0 OS	SOLVED: Kate Has No Recent Files Menu Item Fri Jun 15, 2012 4:31 pm I'm running Kate Version 3.4.5 in KDE Development Platform 4.4.5 (KDE 4.4.5), and there's no Recent Files menu item under File. Yes, I wouldn't bother with an editor that lacked this capability. try renaming ~/.kde/share/config/katerc That did the trick. One of the messed up entries was Open Recent and the other was Open With. I have them both back now, and I thank you. Lane
