Is it possible to compile konqueror (for kde 4.8.4) with disabled option «expandable folders» (in detailed view)?
If it is how exactly (which commands by)?

I could rephrase my question:
which settings within configuration files of konqueror (kde 4.8.4) should be changed to disable «expandable folders» mode in Detailed view?
OS Kubuntu 12.04.

Is your objective to remove this option entirely, or simply to change the default?

change the default.

In this case, you need to edit the system wide configuration file 'dolphinrc'.
It needs to contain something similar to the following:

[DetailsMode]
ExpandableFolders=false

Unfortunately, the system wide location varies depending on the distribution. Placing it at /etc/skel/.kde4/share/config/ will ensure new users do recieve it however.

Thank you very much for your reply. This problem had solved Due to your deep skills and kindly assistance:
option «expandable folders=false» may be added to ~/.kde/share/config/dolphinrc (I have made it on Kubuntu 11.04).
Konqueror is one of my favourite app and after solving this problem I can migrate to 12.04 and configure it as I like (can't understand why developers exclude this option from GUI in kde 4.8.4)!
