I really do not know if this is a thing in KMix, or awesome wm, or Ubuntu/KXStudio's structure.. but this is what I did:
I might have touched something in 'startup and shutdown' settings window while in the other session. Does anybody know how to fix? I can deliver any logfile of course, and Alt+F4 at every login is a great temp fix. Much obliged. |

Yeah, I got this problem too. I solved it by doing a dbus call to kmix to hide the main window 1 second after it started, which is sort of a hack, but works.
Greetings
I'm working on the KDevelop IDE.

Marked as solved. In instances where this happens, I find it helpful to ensure all related processes to the offending application are killed, then logout and back in again (and then start the app as usual). This usually corrects any misbehaviour.
