Hi to all!
I'm using arch linux with kde 4.9.1. I use the devices manager applet to mount external ntfs hard disks which I use also in a Windows XP environment. In order to avoid issues in Windows, I would like to use lowntfs-3g instead of ntfs-3g to mount the drive using also the "windows_names" and "ignore_case" options so that to use ntfs in a case insensitive way (the same way Windows do). Is there any way to configure the device manager or the software it calls (fuse?) so that to use the above commands instead of ntfs-3g when mounting ntfs disks? Thank you, Xwang |

This behaviour is controlled by UDisks to an extent from what I am aware. While KDE can pass some options to UDisks, I do not believe a configuration option is provided for this at this time.
If you add entries for NTFS drive(s) in /etc/fstab however, I believe they will be followed.
