Good day everyone,
i'm hardly trying to find the most comfortable way to access my server from everywhere. My situation is this. I tried wine and Teamviewer and a I tried krfb. Teamviewer is kinda **** because there are serious issues with my keyboard mapping (german). So that i cant type stuff like -, /, , , &&, +, = ,.,.. (everything that is not a letter) krfb needs an "accept" everytime i try (from the server side) to login, even if i dis-check "ask before accept connection" and put a valid password. i need to login in this running system, it is ok if i cant after a reboot, it would be just great. but not a must have. i need to login without that the system (krfb-serverside) asks the user (serverside) if it is ok to let me in. i need to login at an running screen from an logged in user. it should be encrypted. There is my user vbox witch is logged in all the time. I need to login at this screen. Does one has an good advice for me? Thank you, and cookies for everyone! |

In terms of encryption - krfb uses VNC which does not natively support encryption. You could tunnel it through SSH however which would then provide this.
For the krfb bug, have you tried restarting krfb? Also, have you looked into NX (which will also take care of the SSH part)?
