Hello!

This is my very first KDE flavour exception of Linux Backtrack r2 which I did use the KDE version but it was far different to that of Mint.
What I am trying to do is install a nice new theme to make it look nice because really it looks pretty messy at default.

Here is the Theme i am trying to install it is a Tar.gz: http://opendesktop.org/content/show.php?content=142424

I have been told i need to extract this Tar.gz to: ~/.kde4/share/apps/desktoptheme/

The funny thing is I cannot find this on my computer anywhere, Can anybody please help me? otherwise it looks like im going back to the cinnamon flavour, Which is unfortunate if i have to because I choose KDE for it's Media transfer protocol which Cinnamon does not support.

Thank you in Advance!

If the folder ~/.kde4/share/apps/desktoptheme/ does not exist, then it is perfectly acceptable to create it. Once detecting it, KDE will automatically make it available.

First however, I would suggest checking if ~/.kde4/share/ exists. If it does not, I would suggest checking if ~/.kde/share/ does instead.
If ~/.kde/share exists and ~/.kde4/share does not, then create the folder ~/.kde/share/apps/desktoptheme/ instead and extract it there. Otherwise, simply create the folder ~/.kde4/share/apps/desktoptheme/
