How to modify Kwallet policies?

Tue Jan 08, 2013 2:51 am
Every time I'm trying to log in in KDE Telepathy, it asks for master password from KWallet. Is there a way to modify access control policy for it, so it wouldn't ask for it?

Also, I found in System Settings > Account Details > KDE Wallet > Access Control an entry related to KDE Telepathy, and even though it was set to "Always Allow" it was always asking for password anyway. I deleted the entry, but I don't see anyway to set it back. It's pretty confusing, and help isn't helpful, since it just says:

http://docs.kde.org/stable/en/kdeutils/ ... ntrol.html
You cannot edit policies here, or add them, but it is possible to delete an entry by right mouse button clicking on it and choosing Delete from the context menu that appears, or by simply selecting it and pressing the Del key.

KWallet is governed by two things:
1) the wallet itself being opened (which requires your password)
2) access to the wallet being granted to the application (which requires your consent, unless a policy otherwise is specified).

In this case, your wallet appears to be automatically closing, which is what leads to the persistent prompting for your password.
If you would like to skip this, I would suggest setting an empty password for KWallet.
