I have public computers with autologin to kde4.9 desktop.
Because there is nog display manager to set the language(such as gdm or kdm) I would like to place a desktop shortcut so the user can change his language on the fly. I have hide the systemsettings for the users. What is the proper command to put in a bash script to change the language ?After that I can ofcourse reload the plasma-desktop. |

The command "kcmshell4 language" can be used to access the control panel which offers localization settings including the default language.
Some KDE applications may adapt to this immediately, but many will probably need restarting to adopt this preference.
