There are multiple schemas in kwrite.
After opening a file, one can apply a schema one likes. Is there a way to assign a schema to a particular file --- so, every time that file is opened, selected schema is automatically applied? It would be great to remember other settings (like display line numbers, etc.) also for the file. If not in kwrite, can this be achieved in any other editor?

No. I tried that. It does not serve the purpose.
I want the application to 'remember' the settings for a particular file.
