I scheduled a task by KDE task scheduler but it didn't work because it'll run GUI application this what I discovered when I tried to use gnome-schedule.

gnome-schedule has "X Application" feature while I couldn't find a similar in KDE task scheduler. Did I miss something or KDE task scheduler really doesn't support launching task with GUI based applications?

P.S.

1) use Kalarm

2) it will work if you set the DISPLAY variable (search the forum or Google)

Sorry, but do you think I'll post here if I got the solution by search engine!
