Howdy,

I want to use automatic login for my encrypted home but after configure my Mint KDE 15 it doesn't auto login and gives me the following error messages at login:

Code: Select all

Call to lnusertemp failed (temporary directories full?). Check your installation.


How can I fix this issue?

P.S.

• I made the following procedures to configure Automatic Login: MDM Login Manager -> Security -> Enable Automatic Login
• I'm using KDE 4.10.4
• After failing the Automatic Login it asks me to input the user and the password then everything goes fine.

I would think the concept of an encrypted /home precludes the use of auto login, if anyone who turns on your pc automatically gets access to your /home what's the value of having it encrypted

How can I decrypt my home directory?

I would guess decrypting a partition would be dependent on the tool used to encrypt it

I didn't mention that I use TrueCrypt. I just encrypted my home during installation process

You should ask on the Mint forums what tool is used in the installation process and then got to that tools site where there should be instructions
