Advanced Power Management Function

Mon Nov 04, 2013 10:18 am
Hi everyone ! First time posting for KDE !

I'm looking for a more advanced power management. Basically, I would love an array of action for each option.

I'm explaining :

Right now, I can choose what append when I close my laptop. But I have only one choice.
But I would like that when I close it, it locks the screen *and* suspends to RAM.

Same thing for the idle timer. There is only on possibility with one timing.
What if I want to turn off the screen after 5 min, suspend to ram after 10 min and suspend to disk after 15 min ?
For now either I have to wait a complete suspend to disk and a restart each time I move away from my laptop, or I kill my battery each time I go to the toilette because it juste turn the screen off or suspend to RAM.

For me there is clearly not enough option available.
There should be at least as much option as in windows 7 but with a nicer GUI (the windows menu is terrible to use).

Hope I'm not the only one to wait for it !
