Hello,
my Notifications applet just 'told me' that it had finished copying /home/landis/MyDocuments/ ?? I didn't 'copy' MyDocs... That I know of. Is there a way to see, in more detail, what this Notification (actually 3 entries of same message) is about and What was actually 'Finished' ? I would hate to think I accidentally dragged 'MyDocuments' to or from somewhere I don't need or want them, or that I've copied them and now have 2 huge copies of MyDoc.. Help, please. I've looked a messages and glean Nothing from that... Thank you in advance, Landis. |

What application icon was shown for these notifications? This should give a good indication as to which application initiated the copying of data.

I believe I saw the blue konqueror icon on the left of the text.. (i use konqueror, never dolphin). Thanks you, Landis. |

Do you have thumbnails enabled on your system? It could be that this copying was actually of images, through the thumbnailer system - which would then be displayed to you.

bcooksley, i don't know what you mean by thumbnails enabled? the only thing i can think of, you might mean is 'previews' in konqueror? thanks, Landis. |

Yes, by thumbnails I am referring to the previews provided by Dolphin, Konqueror, Gwenview or the general KDE file picker.
