Can I view Apper's history?

Thu Apr 10, 2014 4:53 pm
Hello, I ran some updates yesterday in Apper (0.8.1, KDE 4.11.5, Fedora 19), and I'm trying to find a detailed list of what was updated.

I did click on the settings button, and it shows a list of packages updated, but no specifics about versions and such (except for kernel mods).

Is there a location where I can view specific information about the updates that Apper performed?

You might want to try checking the dpkg or apt / aptitude logs in /var/log/ which may have this information. The availability of this information will depend on how Packagekit / Apper interacts with the underlying packaging system.

Aha, thanks Cooks, I was able to find a detailed listing in /var/log/yum.log. Cheers!
