Startup program to run in the background?

I'd like to have Truecrypt run at startup without its UI window opening. This will let me manipulate my volumes from the system tray icon.

In System Settings > Startup and Shutdown, I've set Truecrypt to launch at startup. In the TC preferences, I've enabled the program to run in the background, and to keep running when all volumes are dismounted. Everything works fine, I just need to keep the TC window from opening when the system starts.

Thanks.

I'm afraid it appears that Truecrypt doesn't have an option to stay minimized, at least as far as I could tell from it's online documentation.

You can use something like wmctrl I guess (wmctrl -c windowtitle). It should be rather easy to come up with a one-line shellscript which closes the window after startup.

Greetings!

Thanks, scummos. I'll look into it (though I'm working with Mint Cinnamon DE for now).
