I like using Kate as it has a lot of useful features that make it useful for most everything. One issue I have though is the ability to automatically format my code for me. For example if all my code is not indented correctly I want to have a hotkey I can hit that would give it this ability to format it the way I like.

My second issue is in Dolphin I can't figure out how to add SFTP bookmark mounts like in Nautilus.

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I am having issues with this.

Also one other question is it possible to save my KDE setup? I was wondering if it was possible so I could share it with my other systems via OwnCloud or something.

In regards to adding quick access to your SFTP locations, you can right click in the Places panel (on the left side of the window) and select "Add Entry". Depending on how you configure it, these should also be displayed in all KDE applications.

In terms of saving your KDE setup, that is stored under ~/.kde4/share (or ~/.kde/share depending on the distribution). Please note that many applications don't react well to the configuration file(s) changing underneath them.
