Hello, its a wonderful day up hier in Scotlands west.
I need for an application (mtink) membership in the group lp. Now I can not find the place to do this. It used to be in the System settings under User management. Has that changed with 14.04?

edit /etc/group - not sure about a gui for this one. Oh, and you have to log out and in again for changes to take effect

Look at the adm line as an example. Ergo your lp line should look like

I once had to deal with mtink for a friend. Is your printer set up properly in KDE? Have you selected the right port within mtink?
