Gamepad Battery Meter

Sat Sep 27, 2014 11:44 pm
A few weeks ago I got a Sony DualShock 4. The controller works fine and it shows up in KDE's input settings. However, there doesn't appear to be a graphical way to access the battery meter. I can use "upower -i" to get all the battery info. I'm not sure if this is relevant, but using "acpi -V" doesn't seem to work.

I would like to point out that XFCE's battery monitor is able to detect the controller. Both my KDE and XFCE setups run Arch Linux, though my XFCE setup is on a laptop.

Is it possible to get my controller's battery to show up using any widgets?

Which version of Plasma are you using? I believe some versions did add support for Mice batteries, so a Gamepad/Joystick should fall under this as well...
