It's possible, but less convenient than on Linux.

In your KDE on Windows installation directory, go into the lib64/kde4/ directory (first directory might be called "lib").
Can you provide a list of files present which start with "kerfuffle_"?

One of the more important ones is called "kerfuffle_libarchive"

List of files present which start with "kerfuffle_":

kerfuffle_clizip.dll

kerfuffle_libgz.dll

File "kerfuffle_libarchive" is missing. Where can I get it? I have installed KDE, use KDE-Installer.

Can Ark open Zip files on your system? I suspect libarchive might not be available on Windows...

I can't open zip files. Apparently, it is necessary to use other programs. ((

Ah, of course - the plugin is "clizip" so that won't work as the right utilities won't be included with Ark.
Unfortunately while Ark is a very capable archiver on Linux, without the libarchive plugin it has very little functionality as most archive reading/writing is done using libarchive.

If you check in the KDE on Windows installer, is libarchive available?

Unfortunately, libarchive not available in Windows Installer. We'll have to use other application to open tar files. This is not a problem. I'm just used to it.

Okay, that is rather unfortunate. I'll ask the KDE on Windows folks why libarchive is not available as Ark is sort of useless without it.
