Tue Jan 13, 2015 10:54 am
Well thanks for the support, starting now.
My Kubuntu (14.04.1) x64b recognizes the printer,I've tried to update de HPLip with was made with sucess, but the trouble remains, all the jobs that i sent to the printer, leave the printer in blank pages (totally blank) i just don't know what to do more. :'(
Grateful

If the printout doesn't start at all, you lack the binary plugin (HP drm-i-don't-know-what ****, not all distros ship it).

If a blank page is feeded through, try a testpage (depending on what printer it actually is: ideally a hardware triggered one) to see whether ink is dry or toner (LaserJets) is wet.

If the ink dried out, you'll have to purchase new ink cartriges (the print header is part of the ink cartridge for HP)
If it's a Laser printer, take out the toner cartridge, ensure the toner is dry (keep it in a dry warm room ;-) and then smack the cartridge (no joke - of course don't break it, but a little slap and some shaking around will do)
