I don't have a technical background so please be gentle with me .

I was wondering if it would be possible to get Ark compress files and folders in multi-threaded fashion. If it is technically possible, that would make it much more efficient in my humble opinion. Consider this as a feature request .

It's technically possible, but unfortunately this does not mean that it would be easy.

I tested by setting up export XZ_DEFAULTS="-T 0" on bashrc but it seems ark doesn't recognize that? https://unix.stackexchange.com/a/621432
