Good day all,
Is there a way to insert bookmarks into Kwrite (or files readable by KrVeiwer) with text code? Sure, I can use Cntl+B while using Kwrite, but I'd like to open text documents created by another program that has bookmarks loaded by the other program. More details: I generate pages and pages of text output from R (http://www.r-project.org/) via the R sink() command. I'd like to be able to better navigate those files, and thought that maybe I could by using, e.g., cat() in R to insert code in the output that indicates a bookmark. Then, when the file is opened by Kwrite, I can just navigate through it all via bookmarks instead of scrolling and looking for the right thing. I tried inserting \f to create page breaks, but those didn't carry even when, e.g., exporting into .pdf through Kwrite. Thank you in advance for any help! |
