NFS and music sharing

Tue Jun 16, 2015 11:47 pm
Hello all,

I have a NAS synology where all my music is stored.
I'm running KDE 5.2.2 on my laptop

I would like to be able to read my music library from my laptop.
So I mounted using NFS my NAS music disk on my laptop and I loaded this mounted disk on Clementine (music player).

It seems to work except that very often, some files are greyed from Clementine interface. It's like they are not reachable anymore.
When I browse to these file I can see that the permission is set back to not readable nor writable... I'm not sure why.
When this happens I have to press F5 in Dolphin (refresh) on the concerned folder. Then the file becomes r/w again and then I can read it (again) from Clementine.

I tried a lot of things... ( mount through /etc/fstab , through autofs ... )
Now I have the following options in my /etc/auto.nfs file:
Code: Select all
Musique  -fstype=nfs,rw,intr,rsize=8192,wsize=8192  192.168.1.15:/volume1/Backup/Musique

I'm running out of ideas... :(

Any help would be welcome
