I created a link to a text file on my desktop by dragging file from Krusader, dropping on desktop and choosing "Link Here" from the popup menu.
Then I open the file in KWrite by clicking left mouse button on newly created icon.
After I type some text the star is being added at the end of file's name in the titlebar to indicate that file changed.
However after pressing Ctrl+S or clicking File|Save the star is still there and when I quit KWrite the popup appears saying "The document "<document_name>" has been modified. Do you want to save your changes or discard them?". What's interesting is that even though I click "Discard" in this popup the modification is being saved – I see modified content next time I open this file.
There's no problem with editing the same file in Krusader (I believe Krusader uses KWrite part in its editor) when I open it directly from Krusader (not through desktop shortcut). I might add that when I open the file directly from Krusader there's a full path to the file starting with file:///... in the titlebar but only file's name when opening through desktop shortcut.
Any ideas?
