Hi
This is my first(I think!) post on the KDE Forums. I would like to ask what's the preferred way to close a bug on kfontview? Right now there's a bug, https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=342235, which I found trying to help the KDE Project. I think I could solve this bug and made a post and send a patch on the bug report page. I made this post a couple of day ago. Then nobody responded to my post, so I decided to contact the responsible of the bug and this guy replied to me that he doesn't have the time to work on the KDE project. So my question is: how can I help the KDE project? who could review the patch I send? Is this the appropiate forum( ) Thank you! PS: Oh yeah! English is not my native language so forgive my bad grammar! |

You don't :-P
kde-workspace is feature frozen since years and won't see many releases anymore either, so you'll have to fix it (if it still exists) for the KF5 version ("plasma-desktop" repository) The preferred way for patches atm. is generally (there may be personal deviations) git.reviewboard.kde.org. (You can there also address a wider audience like the plasma group) If the bug group assignee did *indeed* say he's no time to work on KDE (at all and forever, not "not now, cause my child has the flu"), he should actually withdraw his assignment from bugreports. |
