protoeditor is a old project unmaintained since 2007.
it has an editor that embed katepart and also ships with a plugin you can use in kate itself. it is used to integrate debugger facility into kate for PHP XDebug with the dbgp protocol. now being that old, targeted for KDE 3.2 can it still be used for kate built on Qt5 ? I wish. the owner's repo was imported from SVN with all trunk and branches folders under the main tree. https://github.com/thiago-silva/protoeditor so I redid the import from sourceforce SVN https://github.com/mathieujobin/protoeditor Now, this thing was building with Automake, which will sure fail. so best is to convert it to the new CMake building system. I don't know a thing about CMake, I used am2cmake from kde-dev-scripts to convert all Makefile.am files into CMakeLists.txt... Still nothing builds.... I dont know if anyone would be interested helping me with this? |
