So I am using the built in energy saver in kde and thats fine and I am happy with it. However I am looking for a way to reset the idle counter. I know moving the mouse or keyboard does this, but can I do it via qdbus.

I tried changing the powermanager configs, this works kinda but soon as I set it back to the old powermanager config it shuts of right away if it was idel for longer than 45 minutes.

I need a way to reset the idel time back to 0 just as if someone moved the mouse except I need to do it via a cron job.
